Museo de Arte de Ponce

Fall 2025 | Brand Identity | Professor Douglas May

I rebranded the Museo de Arte de Ponce to highlight its deep roots in Puerto Rican heritage while positioning it as an inviting, community-centered institution. Bright island-inspired colors and a geometric typeface reflect the vibrant local culture and the museum’s modern architectural design. Drawing from Art Deco influences, the visual identity blends historical flair with contemporary structure, reinforcing the museum’s role as a cultural landmark. Above all, the clean, minimal design system allows the artwork itself to take center stage, emphasizing the museum’s dedication to preserving and showcasing art.
